SITE NEWS
NEW SITE: 8-10-07: We made some new friends over the past few weeks. Make sure you head on over to The Gigcast and Drunk Duck, also linked below, and check them out! You won't regret it one bit! 8-3-07: Prolly gonna change the look of the site again, but kicking it around on how best to tackle it. Moreso looking at content than design - this colum seems to be taking up space and could be better utelized... 4-9-07: Aside from a few tweaks and such, we're pretty much on cruise control with the new site. Probably a page or two was missed but we'll find them and fix them on the fly! 3-19-07: Exactly one month later and the site is just about wrapped up. So many pages, so little time! 2-19-07: New Website Launched - Pardon Our Dust while we tweak it on the fly. BLAST: 4-9-07: Monthly update - We did it! New Blast Asteroid is posted! PROMOTING OUR STUFF: 3-19-07: We've all joined ComicSpace within the past few weeks and are starting to promote our work again. You can see us at the following pages: Cook Bros. Comics, Tkid and Casey Cook - stop by, join up (it's free) and drop us a few comments - it'd be appreciated. It feels great to share our work and get our "voice" out there in cyberspace! ComicSpace is a great concept being that is basically MySpace for comic book and webcomic folks. Creators, writers, artists and fans alike have a community they can go to and chat about all things comics. All thanks to Josh Roberts who also created Online Comics. Now that the site redesign is starting to wrap up we'll be able to start spending more time promoting – especially over the next few weeks when we relaunch Blast Asteroid and the Space Patrol!! BLAST ASTEROID: 3-6-07: We're plugging along on production of our new Blast Asteroid series and feeling really good. We're about 2-3 weeks away from launching the first episode in the latest series of webcomics brought to you by Cook Bros. Comics! COMICS Etc.: 3-6-07: We've got even more comic action going on than Blast Asteroid, so stay tuned. Still have a few kinks to work out on the site redesign and a few (hundred!) pages left to update to the new look. Overall we're very pleased with the new design and feel of Cook Bros. Comics. TV and MOVIE: 3-6-07: Heroes was AWESOME last night! The Brother's Cook are loving that show. The only bad thing is waiting until April 23rd for it to come back on. What gives? NBC think they're HBO or something? Another cool thing from last night was the Spiderman 3 teaser and extended online trailer. Here's a few stills of Vemon we snatched from the extended trailer of Spiderman 3, due out in theaters on May 4, 2007. MOVIE HYPE: 2-23-07: Ghost Rider's been out for almost a week amid mixed reviews. I for one, love the look. Used to read the crap out of Ghost Rider comic books as a kid. Something about his chopper was just always so cool to me. I think they got all the ducks in a row when it comes to the way this movie is presented. If the story is too slow and long or acting is weak so be it, but I'm still gonna check it out - just look at how sweet this thing is! Pic below priovided by Fangoria (www.fangoria.com).
But the flick I simply can't get enough of right now is Transformers. Two, three even four times a day I'm going online to my favorite sources (see the links on the left) to seek out new and exciting Transformers news, clips, teasers, pics - you name it.
